Biography

United by their passion for the great music coming from England in the 60s, Dr. Daddy-o lovingly recreates the sound of that incredible era. Led by Jeff Ross (formerly of Badfinger and the John Jorgenson Band), these professional L.A. studio players have an impressive list of collective musical credits, having individually worked and toured with many major artists, in addition to being featured on numerous TV and film soundtracks. Outside of the studio, these fabulously talented musicians celebrate their favorite musical era by presenting classics by bands such as The Who, The Kinks, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Animals and more.

Dr. Daddy-o are:

Jeff Ross   Keyboards, guitars, vocals

Originally from Connecticut, Jeff is one of those musicians who can master any instrument. A talented singer, guitarist, and pianist, he also plays bass and violin. Classically trained, Jeff¹s influences from the Beatles and the Motown scene helped form his musical style. Jeff has toured with legendary Apple recording artists, Badfinger, ex-Rolling Stone Mick Taylor and recently was musical director for 60s teen idol, Johnny Tillotson. Jeff has also performed with various groups opening for Fleetwood Mac, Ted Nugent, and Billy Preston. Jeff frequently tours with former Elton John, Hellecasters and Desert Rose Band guitarist, John Jorgenson.

Bill Cinque   Vocals, bass, guitar

Bassist and vocalist Bill Cinque brings his own unique talents and experience to Dr. Daddy-o. He has recorded and toured with artists such as Corey Stevens, Dave Robyn, Peter Noone, The Coasters, Michele Greene and the Bay City Rollers. Bill's TV and film music credits include over 100 placements on The Young and The Restless, as well as One Life To Live, Passions, All My Children, Any Day Now, JAD, Monster, Phantom of the Mall and The Eliminators.

Herman Eng   Guitar, vocals

Herman Eng is a Guitarist/Singer/Engineer/Producer who owns and runs Scrooge Productions. Scrooge Productions started in NYC in the mid 80's and relocated to Los Angeles in 1993 now specializing in Artist development, Movie and Television soundtracks. Born and raised in NYC Herman has been a professional musician for over 25 years. He is currently doing guitar work on two movie soundtracks, while performing and recording with various artists in Los Angeles.

Chris Ralles - Drums

During his career, Chris has developed a reputation for his consistency, professionalism, strong work ethic, technical experience and solid groove, which make him a much sought-after drummer. He is currently touring with Kenny Loggins, with whom he has worked with since 1987. Chris performed with Kenny before 100,000 people in Washington DC on Earth Day 1995. He has made numerous television appearances with Kenny on The Tonight Show, The Arsenio Hall Show, The Dennis Miller Show, ABC In Concert, VH1, The Disney Channel and CSPAN. In early 1999, Chris began drumming for Christopher Cross and worked with him on and off through 2003. In 1990 and 1993, Chris toured the world as Madonna¹s percussion technician for Blond Ambition and The Girlie Show. In addition to working with Christopher Cross, Kenny Loggins and Madonna, Chris has performed with Expose, Dave Koz, Michael MacDonald, Dave Mason, The Rembrandts and Maia Sharp.
